WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE GETTING WAXED

When going to have your brazilian, bikini or full body waxed for the first time, it can be quite stressful. We imagine that the waxer will find us weird, we are afraid of having a lot of hair compared to other girls, we anticipate the pain.

Here's everything you need to know before making an appointment for waxing!



Prepare for your waxing session, determine the area to be waxed first of all, (back, brazilian, legs, bikini line, armpits, or all). This choice must be made before hair removal, because the duration of your session depends on the number of areas to be waxed and the type of hair removal desired.


CONSULTATION

On your first visit you will have to fill out a consultation form. This will only take 5 minutes to complete and will help us provide a safer service for you. Everything discussed is confidential. Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time.


BEFORE WAX

​

The day before your appointment, exfoliate your skin in the shower to loosen up dead skin and lift trapped hairs.

Half an hour before, try taking pain relievers like Tylenol or Advil it should kick in right about the time your waxing session starts and ease any discomfort.


CLEANLINESS

​

Moist towelettes are provided in the service room for you to refresh up before wet get started.


LENGTH OF HAIR

​

The hair should be at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch to ensure maximum results. If you have been shaving, you need minimum of 2 weeks growth. And If you worry about the hair being to long, don't worry we will trim them for you.

MENSTRUATION

​

We recommend that you avoid scheduling the appointment near your menstrual cycle. Your skin will be more sensitive and the treatment will be more painful at the time

During the treatment, every step of the process will be explained to you. All you have to do is follow our instructions. Helping with skin stretching and getting into


AFTER WAXING

​

Wear loose clothing to avoid unpleasant friction of the fabrics on your freshly waxed skin. Also prefer cotton underwear rather than lace if you have shaved your bikini line. After waxing the armpits, it is best to wait about twenty-four hours to put on your deodorant to avoid stinging and irritation.
